Soccer Shots is a multiplayer tabletop toy: a spring-powered launcher fires the ball while an opposing player works a goalie mechanism to block the shot. I took it from concept sketches to a working 3D-printed prototype.

Design

The full assembly was modeled in SolidWorks: a spring-powered ball launcher with an adjustable-tension plunger, and a goalie mechanism that slides across the goal mouth. Designing for 3D printing meant planning around printable overhangs, snap-fit tolerances, and minimal support material from the start.

Prototype

The prototype was manufactured via 3D printing and basic assembly methods (springs, fasteners, and press-fits), producing a playable proof of concept.
